'She Who Cries for Nosey'

A proposed documentary about the thousands of people who speak for her and continue to be ignored.

This project is in the early stages. Please read the following and if it fits you, please shoot over an email.

I really only need one to two people crew for this. You get to travel! you must have reliable transportation, an RV would be great! Fundraising has not yet begun for this project but it will be happening in the next few weeks. However in order to fund raise, I need a good camera man / small crew for the following project worked into the budget.

There is a circus elephant named Nosey. They also call her Tiny to hide bad PR. This documentary will focus on the literally thousands of people who protest in the small towns, USA, that Nosey's owner - a drunk Hugo Liebel - takes her to. Our focus is on the individuals who fight for her. The only two people in the world who can take critical action for Nosey is Secretary Vilsack and President Obama. They have both been sent letters by congressional committees, USDA's 200+ violations of the Animal Welfare Act, the petitions containing nearly 100,000 signatures and even my own son took his photo with this young but crippled elephant and sent it to Sasha and Malia. They did nothing.

 

Thousands of people marched in Washington D.C. June 2015 to the USDA. They were IGNORED.

In short, all these violations and fines are paid so that Liebel can keep abusing Nosey and the USDA will keep quiet about it.

MUST have equipment, camera, traveling vehicle and editing software. Please submit bid but please keep in mind, there is no profit in documentaries. The distribution plan for this is for it to be FREE to the general public on commercially driven social sites. It is a message to Obama and Vilsack, and to raise awareness through social media, and to inspire.

 

The work the Nosey warriors and activists have done has been loud and clear and inspiring. However, support for the project must be proven, simply with an email or comment. It's just a necessary part of fundraising so please show your support in the comments section below.

Crew will interview protesters, research and collect info, talk to media, obtain previous footage, and include APHIS documented AWA violations obtained through the FOIA. Interview congressional leaders who have spoken for Nosey and do some investigative journalism, as well as be part of the post production process.
 

Film Makers To submit, please estimate the travel costs and submit a budget including your salary.

PAY will depend on fundraising budget goal reaching.

About me: I am a writer/director and the woman who was responsible for the first elephant seizure in USA history. Delhi 2003. While everyone was focused on Lota, I was busy getting Delhi seized. Lota soon followed. These two inspired my book Delta the Dancing Elephant.
